Bed Canopy

You know the old saying ‘a plumber never gets round to doing his own plumbing’, well the same can be said I think for most self-employed craftsmen, myself included.  However, today I can proudly show off my new bed canopy. It was something I had wanted for a while ( I think it goes back to the caveman dwelling) I like feeling protected at night.  My husband kindly made the frame for the ceiling (out of door architrave) and I made the panels of muslin on velcro to fit. I hope you’ll agree Its turned our nice but plain bedroom into something a bit more exotic. So its pat on the back time (even if it is by myself) for having done some soft furnishings in my own home.
